e-Methanol is a drop in replacement to conventional methanol. Existing infrastructure can be used without costly upgrades making e-Methanol a promising solution for decarbonizing hard-to-abate sectors such as heavy industries including refining, petrochemicals, marine transport, and aviation.
e-Fuels are a low-carbon alternative to traditional fossil fuels and help decarbonize at the scale necessary which biofuels alone cannot achieve. Produced using renewable energy, e-Fuels can help reduce an industry’s carbon intensity.
