e-Methanol

StormFisher Hydrogen facilities produce e-Methanol at an industrial scale through developing state-of-the-art power-to-methanol facilities with access to the global supply chain. The end product has the same chemical composition as traditional methanol, the only difference is its production via electrolysis.

e-Fuels for the Maritime Sector from StormFisher Hydrogen

e-Methanol for Industry

e-Methanol is a drop in replacement to conventional methanol. Existing infrastructure can be used without costly upgrades making e-Methanol a promising solution for decarbonizing hard-to-abate sectors such as heavy industries including refineries, ammonia production facilities, steel plants, glass, cement, maritime and shipping, aviation, agriculture and other industries with large process and thermal loads.

Lower Carbon Intensity

e-Fuels are a low-carbon alternative to traditional fossil fuels and help decarbonize at the scale necessary which biofuels alone cannot achieve. Produced using renewable energy, e-Fuels can help reduce an industry’s carbon intensity.
